Bulk Billing Update
Recent Medicare funding changes introduced by the Australian Government on 1st November 2025, mean that more standard GP services are now eligible to be Bulk Billed at Monaro Medical Practice.
This includes routine GP consultations, chronic disease management plans, health assessments and eligible plan reviews (where criteria are met).

Some services may still incur a private fee where additional clinical time, consumables, specialty treatment or specific procedure items are required - such as iron infusions, surgical procedures, travel vaccines, wound care and pregnancy care. Medicare rebates may apply to some of these services.

If you are unsure whether your appointment will be bulk billed or attract a private fee, our team is happy to assist. Please speak with reception prior to your consultation.
